Day One: Arrive, unwind and enjoy a bottle of chilled Veuve Clicquot and hand made chocolates. Relax, perhaps on your deck overlooking the Queen Charlotte Sound or in your private hot tub. Your three-course 'Trust the Chef' dinner with accompanying Marlborough wines will be served in your private cabana. Day Two: Enjoy breakfast in your private cabana and sit back and be transferred to the waterfront where you will board the ‘Lady Karen’, a 1957 fishing vessel with a warm and inviting timber interior. Try your luck at skeet shooting off the deck or fishing. Your skipper will bake some fresh scones on board for morning tea and you can choose to enjoy your gourmet picnic lunch on board or at a secluded bay. Return back to The Sounds Retreat in the afternoon for your sixty-minute massage before enjoying your three-course dinner specially prepared by our in house chef. Day Three: Breakfast will be served overlooking the Queen Charlotte Sound before check out at 10.00am. You will be transferred to the airport or ferry terminal by The Sounds Retreat.

The perfect Wedding Accommodation in Hawkes Bay. Six private cottages set on 5 acres with petting animals can accommodate up to 26 guests and the stunning 8 bedroom Lodge set on an adjacent 5 acre working orchard can accommodate up to 20 guests. Friends, family and the wedding party can all stay and play together on this rural setting yet it is only 1km from the Havelock North Village. We are surrounded by wedding suppliers and can help with all aspects of your wedding.

This package is for two consecutive nights, for up to 12 guests, in Pegasus Lodge, at Chapel Hill on Waiheke Island. It excludes bank holidays and long weekends. Check in is after 2pm and check out by 10am. There are seven beds, within four bedrooms in the lodge. The master bedroom has a super-king bed, queen bed and single bed. It also has a spa bath and ensuite including a bidet. Cots and high chairs are available. The price includes linen, tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, GST and cleaning. Guests are invited to meet and feed the animals, normally at 10am the day after arrival, free of charge. The lodge is located near well known vineyards including Stoneyridge, Tantalus, Te Motu and Wild on Waiheke. We are also opposite the golf course, and a short drive to stunning Onetangi beach.

The workshop starts with experimentation on copper first so you get the techniques down, then onto sterling silver. Have some fun forcing silver into a wacky ring, take it quietly and make a beautifully crafted silver ring, or do something in between. I will help out with the very hard parts, of course. But you eventually learn quite a bit about making jewellery by hand, including brazing the joint at over 700degC, then making it nice and polished. No jewellery-making experience necessary. My workshops emphasise practical jewellery-making processes, simple hand technology, and hand-made tool-making. The Wedding Ring Workshop gives you the opportunity to make your own wedding bands by hand and to make them together, with NZ-sourced gold or silver. You'll start with NZ-sourced gold in the form of granules or strip: 22k, 18k, 14k, 10k, 9 karat, or silver. This is rather unique as a wedding ring workshop because here at Bush Jewellery Studio you will make your own rings from scratch. This means your range of metal options will be confined to the malleable yellow gold karats. There will be plenty of scope for you to apply your own touch and for each of you to make a truly unique ring. I'll ask you about ring dimensions and we'll measure your finger sizes. When all is considered we'll make a date. $US700 covers your tuition which will take about 4 hours. Gold costs are extra, so allow $US500 to $US1800 for the gold, depending on the karat and weight of your choice of ring. I'll ask a deposit to secure the booking and to cover the cost of the material. The balance will be required two days prior to the day. I'll take photos along the way which you will get to keep. Maybe you would like to make each other's ring! Either way, it will be a fun day.

Hi! my name is Liz and I would love to first have a meeting in person or by Skype with you so you can decide if I’m the right Celebrant for you. This is how I work: Once you decide to have me as your Celebrant and the deposit is made we will meet in person or by Skype to plan your ceremony. I will send you a Wedding Resource Kit this contains all the information you need to prepare for this meeting. We will discuss the details of the Ceremony, your ideas and thoughts on love and marriage and your unique story as a couple. I will then write a ceremony that is personal and meaningful for you and email this to you. You can then email me as many times as is necessary until you are completely happy with your Ceremony. Closer to your wedding we will have another meeting to finalize the ceremony and then we will meet again for the rehearsal the day before the wedding or whenever it suits you on that week. Three day hire of venue with exclusive Saturday use. This provides you a Friday for setting up and catching up with friends and family. Saturday is the big day with ceremony and reception. Sunday is brunch and games followed by packing down. Includes all accommodation (3 cabins) and up to 120 guests. The benefit of hiring our venue is you can provide all your food and alcohol, saving you lots and with no mark up from us. We specialise in rustic wedding where the bride is more likely to be in barefeet than 4" heels. Our 3 day package lets you relax and have plenty of time to enjoy a few days with your guests.
