Elopement You Two, 2 Witnesses and Me
This is a service I provide for couples who want to be married somewhere other than the Registry Office, with two witnesses (generally provided by you) to sign the marriage certificates. It can be anywhere within 50 kilometres of Brisbane CBD. Some couples like to be married mid-morning and then go for lunch to celebrate or late afternoon and go out for drinks or dinner.
I provide the legal documents and lodge them with the Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages the first working day after your ceremony has taken place.
What you are required by law to provide is: Original Birth Certificate, Photo ID and also if you’ve been married before, an original Divorce or Death certificate as proof of how the marriage ended.
I can send you a link to an encrypted site where you can enter details for your Notice of Intended Marriage (NoIM) and once completed, it will be emailed to me, ready for you to sign in my presence. Alternatively, you can download the form, fill it out and have it witnessed by a JP, Solicitor/Barrister, Doctor of Police Officer and email or post to me.
A Booking Fee of $200 will secure my service and I will invoice you for the balance of $250 two weeks prior to your ceremony.
