Greg’s photography is often humorous, sometimes poignant, and always engaging. He has a knack for presenting everyday life in a way that makes one stop. And take notice. His soothing presence and kind respectful nature help bring out the best in his subjects to capture the true essence of people and places. Greg prides himself in sourcing interesting locations and enjoys the challenge of making your images extraordinary.

Bringing international experience and an extensive portfolio filled with celebrity faces, including Anna Kournikova, Sharon Osbourne, Tyrese Gibson and Quincy Jones, photographer Greg Nelsen knows how to capture a countenance. As an advertising art director for more than 15 years, Greg accrued abundant acclaim and awards — including an Emmy for his pro bono work for Big Brothers Big Sisters. But beyond all of this globetrotting and star-wrangling experience, Greg’s first passion is capturing timeless moments and imagery that will be cherished for generations.

Between bookings, Greg reserves time for travel, reporting, and expanding his portfolio of published photography, which has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, International Herald Tribune and Photo District News.

Greg’s other loves include surfing, yoga, and writing about himself in the third person.
