Wedding bands and artists packages

The duration of this package will vary with all weddings, but as a standard we would play for: 3 x 45 mins or 2 x 60 mins or 4 x 30 mins (we are very flexible with times, don't hesitate to ask) The performance will consist of a 3 piece band with over 20 years experience playing a rock n roll cover set spanning a vast array of genres such as Elvis, U2, Roy Orbison, INXS, Crowded House, Oasis, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Tom Petty, Eagle Eye Cherry, Garth Brooks, Bryan Adams, Prince, UB40, Hunters and Collectors etc. We provide our own high quality PA system which we will set up usually before the guests arrive or before food is being served. Payment can be made by either bank transfer or cash. Typically a deposit of 300 is paid by bank transfer in advance with the balance being paid in cash at the wedding. CEREMONY: Can supply wireless microphone for celebrant. Music before and after your ceremony. Any songs to your liking for your ceremony. (Processional, Signing the Registry and Recessional) CANAPÉS: Live music to be played for canapés. RECEPTION: Can supply wireless microphone for MC & Speeches Organizing and playing entry songs for bridal party through our P.A Live music to be played in between announcements and speeches. Any songs for your liking to be played for Cutting the Cake & First Dance. After the first dance, we can monitor the playing of music selected by you via Spotify. This also includes monitoring the level of music and making sure the music is played smoothly with no hiccups. Payment to be made before the day of ceremony by cash or direct deposit.

We have about 80+ wedding, that we play at, by recommendation. Need we say more. We are the top, quirky Steampunk Wedding band. You don't have to be steampunk themed to have us, just a desire to hear rock/pop/dance cover versions played by a most unusual rock band with sousaphone, instead of electric bass guitar, banjo instead of rhythm guitar and sax/violin/trombone instead of lead guitar.

The hourly rate is charged for the time that we are at your event (excluding set up and pack up time - we don't charge for that)! Usually for a ceremony, we play around 15 minutes of background music as the guests arrive before the ceremony begins. After that, we play the song which the bride would like to walk down the aisle to. Then there's usually 1-2 songs for the singing of the registry before we play an exit song for the couple, followed by around 10 minutes of music as the guests leave.

Ceremony: Instrumental piano and/or guitar as well as singing any request by bride and groom. Joe is proficient at classical, jazz, and contemporary music. Just let him know what you're looking for. Cocktail/Dinner Hour: A contemporary twist on the traditional jazz cocktail set. In addition to the traditional repertoire, Joe plays and sings the classic and contemporary songs of the last fifty years. Hits by the likes of Elton John, Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Michael Buble, James Taylor, Dave Mathews, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, etc. Reception: Don't be hesitant when asking this musician to do the DJ and MC portion of the evening. Joe is at heart, just a fan of music. He has a massive collection of wedding music and loves to get the crowd dancing. Years of performing has provided Joe a comfort level behind the microphone that only experience of that sort can achieve. His MC style is very easy going, precise, and effective but never overbearing.

The standard configuration is a 6-piece show band (Al Paris - male lead vocalist, 1 female lead vocalist / dancer, drums, bass, guitar & keys – all members sing back-up and harmony). Available Options: +2nd Female Lead Vocalist +2 piece horn section (sax & trumpet) +3 piece horn section (sax, trumpet & trombone) +4 piece horn section (sax, 2 trumpets & trombone) The rates are based upon an event with up to 500 guests in a typical hotel - country club type ballroom or similar outdoor tented space. Additional production may be required for larger events. The rates are all-inclusive of the following: Production (sound system, monitor system, wireless mics and stage lights) Two – 90 minute sets with one 30-minute break OR three – 60 minute sets with two 20-minute breaks Costume Changes

Perhaps a few years down the line there are some additions to your new family, maybe you are a family before you tie the knot. Pencil on paper, mounted and framed. This option is at A5 size. I can work larger or down to A6. I can work in watercolour and oil also. Prices vary and are dependent upon medium, size and subject matter.

Ceremony Package (approx. 2 hours) includes: Live music before the ceremony while guests arrive Live music during the ceremony Up to 1 hour live music after the ceremony during the cocktail hour The song of your choice... I will learn up to 2 songs that is simply “your song”, that perfectly compliments your “walk down the aisle”, or “your first dance” to make it your very own and unforgettable moment … (I am happy to send you a recording of the chosen songs beforehand) Setup / Pack down time 45 minutes travel time from Byron Bay each way. Extras may include extra travel time/costs and extra songs. Payment: I will ask for a 50% deposit 60 days before the day of your wedding, which is non refundable. The remaining 50% can be paid in cash or cheque on the day or via bank transfer 2 weeks after the wedding at the latest. You will receive invoices for both installments. In the event of cancellation from my side (which has never happened) any monies paid by the client, including the deposit, shall be refunded. Equipment: The equipment is a AER acoustic amplifier which creates an absolutely beautiful, clear and warm acoustic sound at venues for around 100 people. It is also suitable for any outdoor venue like a beach wedding and can perform for around 3-4 hours without power supply. The equipment is easy to be setup and located at several different places during the day.

A two (2) hour String Quartet performance covering the wedding ceremony and then directly afterwards for pre-reception drinks & canapé’s. Typically the quartet will commence playing 15 minutes before the scheduled ceremony start time to entertain guests as they arrive, the ceremony itself (bridal entrance, signing of the registry etc) and then 5-10mins after the ceremony as guests congratulate the newly married couple. The quartet then moves into position for where the pre-dinner drinks are to be held and continues to play until the end of the total booking duration.

The band Rowan will provide live Celtic and Traditional folk background music for the wedding reception. Rowan will provide the sound system and 1.5 hours of music. Rowan will also provide audio equipment for the use of announcements during this period. Contract and deposit required.
